Privacy policy

Only what is needed to hire you a machine:

• Your name, mobile number, email address and the address for billing or delivery.
• The machines you asked for and the dates you asked for them.
• A photo of your ID, if you choose to upload one to speed up pickup.
• Basic technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address.

We do not take card details on this website. Payment happens in person at pickup or delivery.

To call you back about a rental request, to confirm dates, to know who has which machine and when it is due back, and to meet our obligations as a rental business. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional reasons.

We use your number to call or text you about your own rental. If we text you, it is because you asked us to, and you can stop it at any time by replying STOP. The full detail is on our messaging terms page.

Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider, which processes them on our behalf and is not permitted to use your number for anything else.

Uploading your ID is optional. If you do, it is stored against your account so pickup takes two minutes instead of ten, and it is used for nothing else. Ask us and we will delete it.

Nobody, other than the services that run this business on our behalf: our website host, our messaging provider, and our email provider. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them may use your information for their own marketing.

We will disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to recover equipment that has not come back.

Rental records are kept while you have an account with us and for as long as we need them for tax and legal purposes afterwards. Ask us to close your account and we will remove what we are not required to keep.

You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email and we will sort it out. You can stop texts by replying STOP, and stop emails using the unsubscribe link, without affecting a rental already in progress.

This site uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember what is in your request while you are building it. There is no advertising tracking on this site.

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
